Coaster Care

  • Cement is fragile. Handle with care to avoid chips in the vessel
  • Refrain from touching the coaster with dirty hands to avoid spots on the matte finish
  • Trim your candle wick to 1/4" tall before every burn to keep the wax clean and prevent mushrooming
  • Candles with low quality paraffin wax are likely to produce more soot than candles with high quality soy wax
  • To properly extinguish the flame, use a candle snuffer, a wick dipper, or trim the wick
  • Allow candles to melt to the edge of the vessel. This prevents tunneling
  • Avoid excessive burn time, no more than 4 hours is recommended
